Dear  palahali,  best  regards.
Rains  are  essential  for  without  water,
nothing  survives,  but......side  by  side,
Govt  should  ensure  safe  clean  life.
Mumbai  slums  are  a  big  problem !
God  bless.

Dear  B S Keshav ji,  many  a  best  regards.
You  are  right  Sir  about  Mumbai  becoming
a  clutter  and  un-romantic.
But  still  we  say,  "  mumbai  Meri  Jaan  hai ".
GOD  BLESS  us  with  good  life.

Arvindji,
This should qualify as a nice and sarcastic presentation... :-)

I'm a die-hard Mumbaikar, but I hate the f**** rains now.

There was a time when it seemed romantic, now it is bloody tragic!
Potholes, open manholes, sewers that back up, trains that stop, power cuts, malaria, dengue, electrocution due to live wires in water, drowned vehicles... no, nothing romantic about it at all

cheers,

Keshav
