ABOUT MONEY, WHICH HAS NO SUBSTITUTE…

Money plays a vital role in our lives. Money makes life easier and affords a great deal of freedom.
This is the age of wanting more, needing more and having more ! Believe me, in many a situations, money becomes a decisive factor. Ask any rich person who says, “MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING”, to give you some and see his reaction ! Our days perhaps begin and end with money.
Money is definitely something, you can not survive without. You can judge the metal of a person when money is involved. Money is one of the biggest temptations of our existence.
The Truth is, you can fulfill your needs easily because the life perhaps provides enough money for every ones’ needs, but it is very impossible to satisfy someone’s greed !
No body ever got fulfillment in life chasing material desires. A wise man never dreams of wealth in terms of money.
God has made money like butterfly; the more you chase it, it flies away. God’s law states, “Hard work, without disadvantaging others, brings loads of money.”
Money and Mansions are not the only wealth ! Character is wealth, Good conduct is wealth, Spiritual wisdom is wealth. Vedic knowledge says, “ If at all you want to hoard and multiply, hoard the wealth of the Spirit.”
Oscar Wilde remarked, “ Ordinary riches could be stolen or lost, but the real riches of good qualities embedded in your soul, can not be taken away from you.”
What use is money if you don’t have integrity, family and friends, peace, contentment, Relationship with God that makes life worth-living.
If you are wealthy and not willing to share your wealth, you are not really rich. An age-old adage says, “ If you want happiness, you must first need to give happiness.”
Giving is a beautiful experience and it makes you feel the abundance. Giving, definitely is better than not giving at all !
World’s Premier Thinker/ Writer Robin Sharma emphasizes, “ There is nothing wrong with making money and having beautiful things. No body said not to enjoy such worldly pleasures. At the same time, we could be spiritual, good and evolved. But remember that beauty is only skin deep. Material desires must not be your only driving force. Do not base your identity and your self-worth upon them. They will not last. Do not make accumulation of external possessions (Wealth) your primary objective. WE COME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & WE LEAVE WITH NOTHING. Have your beautiful things but do not be imprisoned by them. Own them but do not let them own you. Make a difference by living for something more important than yourself.”
Tim Lavender’s remark on the Law of Reciprocity says, “ The more you give away, the more you receive. Giving begins the receiving process.”
The law of reciprocity is real and it applies to your money, your time and any other thing you are able to sow or give.
Some of the life’s pleasures are simplest ones. Enrich your life with more of them and your heart will be happiest.
When the world’s richest individuals pledge away their wealth to charitable causes, you feel overwhelmed ! They are Gods. There exist such wonderful people who believe in the Power of Giving. This is the very reason God has bestowed upon them plenty of abundance. They are BILL GATES, ANDREW CARNEGIE, and WARREN BUFFET. It has been the genuine desire of these Samaritans to bridge the gap between the world’s privileged and not-privileged. They have gifted about 90 percent of their wealth, making Gates Foundation many billion dollars worth largest philanthropic organization ever. (Please correct me if I’m wrong !) What they have done is not easy. They are Gods.
Shri PRAMOD  BATRA  remarks, " When  you  think  rich  thoughts,  you  become  stress-free !  You  will  start  thinking  of  rich  things  and  you  will  be  doing  rich  things.  What  are  rich  things ?  Who  is  a  rich  man ?  It  is  definitely  not  wealth  but  wisdom  that  makes  men  rich.   A  wise  man  can  satisfy  himself  to  become  mentally  a  rich  man,  but  not  vice versa !  After all,  RICHEST  IS  THE  ONE  WHO  WANTS  THE  LEAST. "   "  To  manage  your  pleasures,  you  do  not  have  to  be  a  Rockfeller  or  a  Tata  or  a  Birla,  or  any  other  big  man !  You  have  to  be  merely  a  mature  person....to  learn  from  books  and  wise  friends  and  by  talking  to  yourself  and  judging  what  will  bring  you  simple  pleasures. "
Most of Indian richest think that their biggest act of charity would be to give people the best they can offer through their business (not charity). The fact is the speed at which the money is being generated by the best business brains in the present age which allows much to be left over after retaining enough for the lavish life-style for themselves as well as enough for their future generations. This left over wealth could be willingly donated for noble causes, to uplift the down-trodden. (This way, their off-springs are also not deprived of their rightful inheritance.)
There is a highly money-rich friend of mine who keeps on saying that his own core needs are not satisfied yet ! Incidentally, he goes on parking his excess money in real estate and gold !
How much money does a man need ? As much as will keep him and his loved ones in what he considers solid comfort, along with enough luxury.
Aiming for this, he can always maintain his peace of mind, which is the basic health. And there is no wealth greater than maintaining best health.
Please allow me to close here with one question;
What is the most important thing in the world ?
IT’S LOVE. Look at it as love for life, the love for the world we live in, and the love for the people around us !
Until next writing, Peace be with you all.
